An famous Green Tea from the renowned region of Lu Shan county, Jiangsi province, whose production goes back over a thousand years. Considered one of the great teas of China. 
 
The tea is bathed by cool mists not far from the Yangtze River.  It is considered a unique green tea as it is clean and crisp, with a lasting sweet taste (Hui Gan). 
 
Most people's first experience with green tea is unfortunately with fast grown, poor leaf grade, mechanically harvested and poorly processed tea that is then brewed at high temperature. This leads to a grassy, bitter tea without any flavour complexity. This is a real eye-opener if you are used to this type of tea!
