This lightly oxidised Oolong is from Pinglin District in Taiwan. It is among the lightest of all Oolongs and has a distinct floral taste, descending into slight citric sweetness and minerality. A real favourite here at Dragon's Nectar.

    • Water Quality: Filtered water ideal
    • Leaf: 2-3g per cup (~200ml)
    • Water temperature: 80-90C (cooler produces a more floral brew)
    • Steep Time: 3-5 minutes 
    • Infusions: 5+

    There are a few tricks that will allow you to get to 80C water without a temperature-controlled kettle. One is to allow the boiling water to cool with the lid off for 5 minutes post-boil, but a quicker way is to add 1 part cold water to 4 parts of hot water.
