This is a light Oolong with a low level of oxidation produced using our unique growing and processing methods. It is very smooth, with subtle Jasmine and Osmanthus flavours with a light honey sweetness, tapering over a period of minutes to a mild Orange flavour. It has almost no bitterness or astringency, making it a very drinkable Oolong.
 
This tea is naturally low caffeine without decaffeination. 
 
The Tea is named after a Richard Burton quote:
 
“Every little boy’s ambition in my valley was to become a miner”

They dug deep into the ground, beyond the soil that nourishes Tea plants, to a place of heat and sometimes fire, where the secrets of things long past were entombed.
